State House Anti Corruption Unit together with Uganda Police last evening arraigned the Chairperson Kashari South Youth Leaders SACCO and Twinomujuni Victor, Councillor Rubaya Subcounty, Mbarara District, before the Mbarara Chief Magistrates Court on charges of Theft of Emyooga funds.
The accused and others at large stole over UGX10M Emyooga Seed Capital meant for the SACCO. They were remanded until 20/03/2024.
His arrest is part of a wider operation in the region where Anti Corruption Unit seeks to arrest and charge before courts persons found culpable for mismanaging Emyooga and PDM funds.
