The Head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has sent a heartfelt congratulatory message to the Kabaka of Buganda, His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, on the occasion of his 32nd Coronation Anniversary.

In her message, Hajjat Namyalo, speaking on behalf of the Bazzukulu (grandchildren) and the ONC, praised the Kabaka’s enduring leadership and commitment to the well-being of the Buganda Kingdom. She also embraced the event’s 2025 theme: “Let’s Stay Alive by Embracing Vaccination and Seeking Medical Care for All Diseases.”

“This year’s theme is a powerful reminder of the health challenges we must face together,” she said, adding that the call to action is especially urgent in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Hajjat Namyalo urged men across Uganda to take the lead in safeguarding their health and that of their families, echoing the example of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, whom she hailed as a “steadfast champion” for public health causes.

“To the Bazzukulu: make informed health decisions, embrace abstinence, fidelity, or proper condom use,” she advised. “Together, we can build a Uganda where everyone has access to healthcare and lives positively.”

Her message also paid tribute to other national leaders, including First Lady Maama Janet Museveni and the Nnaabagereka (Queen) of Buganda, encouraging national unity and a shared commitment to education, health, and community transformation.

“Long live the Kabaka. Long live H.E. President Kaguta Museveni. Long live Maama Janet Museveni. Long live the Nnaabagereka,” Hajjat Namyalo concluded. “May unity and wellness guide our future.”

The Kabaka’s coronation anniversary remains a key moment in Uganda’s cultural calendar, attracting nationwide reflection on heritage, leadership, and community development.
