Horror! KIU Student Found Dead In Bushenyi, Police Arrest Two Boyfriends

Police in Bushenyi District have opened investigations into the death of Linette Karunga, a 21-year-old student at Kampala International University (KIU) Western Campus, who was found dead in Nyakashebeya Village, Nyabubare Parish, Nyabubare Subcounty.

According to preliminary information, Karunga’s body was discovered under unclear circumstances, prompting an immediate response from local authorities and the area police.

Officials from the Greater Bushenyi Police region confirmed that two men alleged to have had romantic relationships with the deceased have been taken into custody to assist with the investigation. The suspects were identified as Onan Nimwesiga and another man known only as Farouk.

Police said the two are currently being interrogated as investigators work to establish the motive and the sequence of events that led to Karunga’s death.

Authorities have urged the public to remain calm and refrain from speculation, emphasizing that a thorough investigation is underway to uncover the truth behind the incident.
