It remains one of the leading causes of road traffic crashes, many of which result in serious injury or death.
This latest operation reflects the ongoing commitment of the police to enforce road safety regulations and protect the public from preventable tragedies on the roads. Law enforcement agencies have pledged to continue such crackdowns, especially during high-risk periods and in known hotspots.
Members of the public are encouraged to report suspected drink driving and cooperate with traffic enforcement teams to ensure safer roads for everyone.
