The Faith of Unity, under the spiritual leadership of Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, commemorated Uganda’s 63rd Independence Anniversary with vibrant celebrations held in Nyankyasaga Village, Kikuube District. The three-day event, which attracted thousands of followers and well-wishers, stood as a reflection of the movement’s enduring dedication to national unity, spiritual transformation, and socioeconomic progress.
During the celebrations—where more than 200 new converts were registered—Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka extended his appreciation to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for recognizing the Faith’s divine mission of eradicating witchcraft and fostering harmony among Ugandans. He outlined the community’s developmental philosophy, emphasizing diligence and discipline, noting that adherents work 27 days each month and dedicate only three days (the 2nd, 12th, and 22nd) exclusively for worship and prayer.
Addressing the newly converted members during his outreach to Kyagwali Bukwenda, the spiritual leader urged them to embrace entrepreneurship, innovation, and value addition as key drivers of individual and national development. He further encouraged believers to align with government initiatives and to support President Museveni’s leadership in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
The Faith of Unity’s observance of Independence Day remains a cornerstone of its identity—an occasion that reinforces the principles of unity, hard work, and gratitude to both the nation and its leadership.
