This December, the Ruparelia Foundation is set to illuminate the Christmas season with compassion as it rolls out a series of community outreach activities dedicated to honouring the legacy of Rajiv Ruparelia, whose generosity and love for humanity touched countless lives.
In a heartfelt tribute themed around sharing the joy of Christmas with those in need, the Foundation has mapped out several charity visits to orphanages and vulnerable communities across Kampala. These visits are inspired by the selfless spirit Rajiv embodied—one that transcended borders, backgrounds, and limitations. For many who knew him, philanthropy was not an act but a way of life, and this initiative seeks to continue that rhythm of giving.

The Foundation’s Christmas outreach will run from 5th to 13th December 2025, with scheduled visits to:
- Ghetto Research Lab – Mulago Kamwokya
- Chrystal Children’s Centre – Ssebuliba Kulambiro
- Ekilawullo Community – Kyebando
- King’s Ways Academy Junior School – Nansana Town Village
Each visit will bring Christmas cheer through donations, shared moments, and activities designed to uplift children and families who often face the season with limited resources. The Foundation notes that this is exactly what Rajiv would be doing if he were still present—standing with the underprivileged, spreading love, and ensuring every child feels celebrated during the festive season.
“His laughter lives in every heart he touched,” the poster lovingly reads, echoing Rajiv’s enduring spirit of joy and kindness.
Members of the public who wish to support the cause—whether through donations or volunteering—are encouraged to join hands with the Foundation. Contributions can be dropped off at Kabira Country Club Reception, with all donations handled in an open and transparent manner.
As the festive bells begin to ring, the Ruparelia Foundation invites Ugandans to celebrate Christmas in the true spirit of giving—honouring a man whose compassion shaped lives, and continuing the work he held dear.
