Businge Conan Daniel is a communications strategist, education marketing leader, and media professional with a strong track record in shaping public narratives, driving student recruitment, and supporting institutional growth within Uganda’s higher education sector.

He began his career in journalism at New Vision, where he rose to serve as Education Editor and senior reporter. During his tenure, he covered critical national issues including education reform, public policy, and socio-economic development. His reporting earned national recognition and established him as a credible and influential voice in Uganda’s media landscape.

Conan later transitioned into public service, taking on the role of Press Secretary to the Vice President of Uganda. In this capacity, he led strategic communication efforts, managed high-level government messaging, and strengthened stakeholder engagement at the highest levels of leadership.

He currently serves as Marketing Manager and Head of Student Recruitment at Victoria University Kampala, where he leads innovative marketing and recruitment strategies. Under his leadership, the university has recorded significant growth in student enrollment, expanded its outreach footprint, and strengthened its brand visibility in a competitive education market.
