The Office of the National Chairman (ONC), managed by Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, has pledged its full support for an upcoming medical camp organized by Marhaba Dawa & Charity Organisation, renowned for its extensive community outreach programs across Uganda.
Scheduled for July this year, the medical camp aims to provide essential health services to underserved communities. While the exact date and venue are yet to be announced, preparations are already underway to ensure a successful event.
Speaking during Marhaba Dawa’s Corporate Iftar Dinner on Saturday at Thobani Centre in Kampala, Hajjat Namyalo reaffirmed the office’s commitment to improving community health through collaborative initiatives.
“We recognize the significance of this medical camp in addressing the health needs of our people,” Hajjat Namyalo stated. “As ONC, we are fully committed to supporting this noble cause. Our medical desk will provide vital supplies and deploy expert consultants to ensure its success.”
She further revealed that ONC’s support would extend to providing essential health items, including condoms, as part of broader efforts to promote public health and awareness.
To kickstart the initiative, Hajjat Namyalo, also known as Chief Muzzukulu, contributed Shs1 million towards the camp’s preparations and pledged additional financial support.
“This is just the beginning,” she said. “We will continue to back this initiative because it aligns with our vision of fostering an inclusive, healthy, and empowered nation.”
The Iftar dinner also served as a send-off for Muslims preparing to embark on the sacred pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj), adding a spiritual dimension to the evening’s activities.
