The National Unity Platform (NUP) has officially released the list of successful candidates for residual constituencies and special interest groups, marking another step forward in the party’s ongoing internal selection process.
According to a statement dated 14th October 2025, the successful aspirants are now cleared to proceed and have their nomination forms endorsed at the Party Headquarters in Kamwokya.

The NUP Electoral Committee noted that the listed candidates successfully went through the party’s vetting and verification process, which assessed their commitment to the party’s principles, leadership capacity, and grassroots support.
Party officials further urged the successful candidates to uphold NUP values of discipline, integrity, and servant leadership as they move to the next stage of the nomination process.
“We congratulate all successful candidates and encourage them to immediately proceed to the Party Headquarters to have their nomination forms endorsed,” the statement reads in part.
