The Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, has today visited Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped (KSPH) in Mengo, in a gesture aimed at supporting and uplifting learners with special needs.
Upon arrival, Hajjat Namyalo was warmly received by the school’s Director, Ms. Joy Mwesigwa, who formally introduced her to members of staff and expressed appreciation for the impromptu visit.
Ms. Mwesigwa described the visit as a rare and special privilege for the institution, noting that such engagements offer encouragement to both learners and staff.
She further appealed to Hajjat Namyalo to consider scheduling a return visit to allow for a more comprehensive interaction with the school community.

Speaking during the engagement, Hajjat Namyalo conveyed a message of goodwill and compassion, explaining that the visit was inspired by her son, Rayan, who is celebrating his 5th birthday.
She noted that Rayan had expressed a heartfelt wish to share his special day with underprivileged children, prompting the outreach to KSPH.
“As he celebrates turning five, he wanted other children to also feel the joy of the day. That is why we have come, to share with them and let them know they are loved and valued,” she said.
Hajjat Namyalo added that the items and support extended to the learners, including a birthday cake and support, were intended to bring smiles to the children and encourage them to remain hopeful about their future. She emphasized that the gesture carries best wishes for their happiness, success, and a brighter future ahead.
In her remarks, Ms. Mwesigwa commended the thoughtful initiative and extended blessings to young Rayan, describing him as a symbol of compassion and generosity at a tender age.
She encouraged him to continue being an ambassador for underprivileged children, noting that such values, when nurtured early, have the power to transform communities.
